Sham Fest 2.0 – Raising Funds for PBC’s Biggest Upgrade Since 1972!
Sham Fest is a free, weekend-long music festival on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, 2025, featuring live music from established and emerging Inner West artists, plus a range of community activities.
Inspired by the festivals of Newtown and Marrickville, Sham Fest is uniquely Petersham. This event was the first step in ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy our club for years to come. We are working with the local deaf community to provide live Auslan interpretation for performances and partnering with GigBuddy's for their April social event. Other activities include line dancing, finska, bowls, and the return of Sculptures by the PBC, our reuse & recycle amateur sculpture competition.
As a non-profit club, we depend on community support to fund essential improvements. Our goal is to raise $500,000 for a much-needed accessibility upgrade, and we’ve already secured $55,000 through fundraising and sponsorships.
Sham Fest is made possible with support from Inner West Council, Grifter Brewing, Reverse Garbage, and Yeah Rad.
Since 1896, PBC has been a community cornerstone, and with your help, we’ll continue to grow as a creative, inclusive, and sustainable space.
